Anneth Lowen campsite is a quiet, small family run site. The panorama from the site is stunning and extensive, taking in far reaching sea and countryside views.
We have a cosy well equipped shepherd hut that accommodates two people in a double bed. It also has a wood burner for the colder months.
We also have a bell tent, this too is fully equipped with a double bed, comfortable seating and a wood burner.
Although located in the countryside the site is only a 15 minute drive from the popular seaside town of Falmouth. The village of Mabe is also only a five minute drive where there is a post office shop and a pub, The New Inn which serves good hot food.
Another 5 minutes down the hill from the village is Asda.
We are next door to The Flicka Foundation Donkey Sanctuary which is free to enter and open to visitors Thursday to Sunday. It has a lovely vegan cafe for lunches, hot drinks and cake! A must to visit: flickafoundation.org.uk
There is a shower/toilet hut encorporating two ensuites. There is also a washing up area with hot and cold running water to the rear.
‘The Galley’ is a separate hut for use by both the shepherd hut and bell tent. It has two gas rings, small fridge and food preparation surfaces.
